Barbara Bren has worked for Vartanian Custom Cabinets for more than 20 years, and she epitomizes customer service and high standards. “97% of the time, I’m the first person someone talks with when they call Vartanian Custom Cabinets. It’s my job to make not just a good first impression, but an outstanding first impression.” Barbara is on the front line of service all the time. She schedules deliveries and field visits, task manages the “punch list”, eyeballs every detail in the contract, knows where everyone is all the time and makes sure that all inquiries are answered in a timely manner. Barbara says, “The best part is working directly with our customers and partners. I love getting to the bottom of what each person needs and fast. Answering questions and troubleshooting is easy because of our team. We work well together, and we’re all proud to work here.”
Number one, that’s Jim. The very first employee hired at Vartanian Custom Cabinets. With knowledge of woodworking and machinery and a trusted friend of the family’s, Jim was the logical first choice when it came to expand for the first time. Starting on the shop floor; through the years, Jim has been exposed to every part of the business and every step in the process of creating beautiful kitchens and custom cabinetry. That’s why he is now so good at using technology to take plans, sketches, ideas and data and transform it into detailed designs and drawings that are then transformed into the finished product. “The renderings that I produce take the guess work out of the project for everyone. The customer can see exactly what their new kitchen will look like making it easy for them to request changes before the manufacturing process starts and to be certain about the choices they’ve made. And with the level of detail that I can produce with our technology, my specifications make the manufacturing process efficient and accurate which influences the quality of our product. And quality is what we’re all about here at Vartanian Custom Cabinets.”
Rhonda Ladue had always wanted to work at Vartanian Custom Cabinets and is now living her dream. She’d known the company and its reputation for years and now wonders, “How many people actually want to get to work in the morning?” Rhonda had just the right ingredients in her background for the job including computer drafting, commercial cabinetry manufacturing and residential remodeling. Not to mentioned boundless energy and enthusiasm. “It’s like I have an “etch-a-sketch” in my head. As soon as someone starts talking about what they’d like to do with their kitchen, I’m drawing it in my head and seeing tons of possibilities.” Rhonda likes to think of herself as a “software abuser” because with what the Vartanian manufacturing process can build, she pushes the technology to create designs and drawings for whatever the customer wants. “This is a wonderful place to work. It’s fun and challenging, and we all take great pride in our product.”
